Our
formal inauguration day was Sunday 30th July 1995 when our courts were first
opened.

The
founding committee comprised Alan Burbridge,
Jane Clouting, Bernard Coombs, Kathy Curling, Jane James, and Tony Jones.

The
Tennis "Club
House" was added at a later date.
|
|
The Club
originally lacked floodlights and started raising money for these in 2001 |
|
We
submitted our planning application to Bath & North East Somerset Council in
February 2002 and the lighting was finally inaugurated in May 2005 |
|
Particular mention should be made of the generous contributions we have
received from the Pensford Music Festival over the years |
